The Human Experience – Pt.2 – Purpose

In The Human Experience – Pt.1, I wrote about what it means to be a human, who and what we really are, and how human labels and constructs can keep us from having our best human experience. The following is what I learned about “purpose” on the other side.

During my NDE life review, I learned that each of our lives has a true purpose. I was shown where my life’s purpose had been revealed to me in many ways throughout my life, and how I either ignored my life purpose, or didn’t find it suitable for the life I wanted to live. My life review showed me choices, paths, and decisions that I freely made, which affected the direction of my life. I do believe that I had my Near Death Experience because of its relation to my life purpose. I do not believe that it was a coincidence or a random event. I’ll write a post about why I believe that I had my Near Death Experience, in the near future.

Our Lives Have Purpose

Yes, our lives have purpose. We choose to come down to the human plane to overcome challenges and learn over many lifetimes, as many lives as it takes. Each life has a plan, a purpose. Often times our purpose is revealed to us, throughout our lives, in communication from the spiritual plane. Unfortunately, most of us live in a closed state of being, and we never see the clues that reveal our purpose to us.

Communication from the spiritual plane is meant to provide direction, so that we may fulfill our life’s purpose. Most of us never get to experience the feeling of finding our life’s purpose because our modern world is too erratic, too distracting, and we are just too interested and occupied by all of life’s perks. To find our purpose we need to achieve an open state of being, and we need to focus.

Our purpose is in line with a life lived for collective movement, not individual achievement. See: Connectedness and Separation – Pt. 2 Individual Achievement vs Collective Movement. We do not come down to the human plane to be the best accountants, best athletes, or the most pious individuals. We come to the human plane to learn and collectively aid our fellow light beings in their life journeys. If you are the best, or you are very good at something, ask yourself – how has it helped others. If the answer is, it hasn’t, then you are either not living your life’s purpose, or you have not yet found a way to help others with your life’s purpose. Find a way to help others. “Your” journey, is a part of “our” journey.

Degrees of Purpose

As humans, we try to understand our life purpose by making it linear, life long, and about mastering something. We believe it has to do with passion and we are supposed to focus our whole lives on it. By this definition, we have given our “life purpose” such a heavy and meaningful scope that some of us are scared to even begin looking for it. However, some purposes are small and may easily go unnoticed without our focus.

Finding our life purpose may seem difficult, but only because we look at everything through our human eyes, instead of our light being eyes. Your purpose has already been communicated to you. It is visible to you, and it has a degree of impact on your life and the lives of others. Some purposes are small and meant to aid only one individual. Some purposes are large and world changing. Some are careers, some are just jobs, and some purposes do nothing more than create. It’s only a matter of understanding.

Finding or “Feeling” Our Life Purpose

Our life purpose is innate, we are born with it. It is something that we are capable of completing. Usually, it is something that is in line with our natural talents and abilities. But sometimes our purpose is a stretch for our human understanding. Our life purpose is something that serves the greater collection of beings on this planet, not necessarily in human form, but spiritual form.

If you are unsure if you have found your life purpose, know that it is something that has shown up throughout your life, many times. It was an idea, a hint, a repeated clue, maybe it brought you joy, something you were called to do, something that was always there, something that may have benefitted others. Occasionally, as in my case, I knew what my life purpose should be, but I turned away from it, because of human created constructs like money, time, education, or judgement. Know that the spiritual plane is always there to help us move beyond human roadblocks. We can find the help we need by remaining in an open state of being.

If you know what your life purpose is, but you are afraid to take the risk and follow it, then you are buying into the illusion of separation between yourself and the all. Believe that you are always connected to the all and the spiritual plane. It is there to help you.

How to find your life purpose:

  • Create an open state of being – Start meditating regularly. See: Connectedness and Separation – Pt.4 – Open and Closed States
  • Review you life – Take the time to review your life from youth to present. What stands out repeatedly, what circumstances have you repeating an action that you consider outside of what you currently refer to as “normal”. Where and how, have you helped others? Take your time, it might take a week or more. Look for points in your life that are commonly visible regardless of the years.
  • Look for signs – The spiritual plane has been communicating with you since birth, dropping clues, and directions to you throughout your life. Learn to recognize the communication. Sometimes the signs are common everyday occurrences that you brush off or choose to ignore. The signs are not giant eclipses, planets aligning, or UFO’s in your front yard. Look for the patterns. Look for the synchronicities.
  • Feel” your purpose – You should be able to feel your purpose when you find it, maybe even before you find it. The feeling probably won’t be earth shattering, but it will click. Something will click in your life that matches up with the patterns, communications, synchronicities, talents, abilities, and feeling of completeness. If you are in an open state, seeing with your light being eyes, it will be obvious.
  • Beware of certain advice – Most family and friends mean well. But they will usually try and talk you out of something that they just can’t see themselves doing. Understand that only you, can feel your life’s purpose. No opinion should be able to sway you if you find your purpose.
  • Beware of narrow viewed “Spiritual Practices” – Be wary of “spiritual practices” that rely on dictating the type of person you are, and what would be best for your life purpose. Again, if you don’t “feel” it, that purpose isn’t for you.
  • Use outside resources – Use a coach, or clairvoyant like myself to help you weed through the spiritual signs in your life and give you some direction. Contact me if you are seeking direction with your life’s purpose or any spiritual teaching. I am happy to help.

*Remember: your purpose is something you came down to the human plane to complete. It is already within you.

Why Bother?

Why bother with our life purpose? Why bother finding it? If we can freely choose to live the life we want to live, then why not just have fun? During my interaction with the being on the other side, he changed his persona to all of the lives I have lived, flipping through different forms of humans, rapidly, right in front of me. Some of those lives were blessed, and some were not so blessed. What we need to understand, is that the reincarnated lives that I saw were not in a beneficially progressive order. Meaning, you can come back in the next life and be worse off than you are in your current life. It doesn’t necessarily get better each time we come back if we’ve left our current lives with missed learnings, and purposes, that were right in front of us. The being was proving a point, showing me that I needed to focus on my life purpose, to focus on progression, or risk possibly coming back to a less desirable life. The choice is yours to make.

The Takeaway

We each have a life purpose. It is something that we came down to the human plane to complete. It is often right in front of us. But, we spend too much time distracted by technology, and an overload of entertaining, attention deficit creating programming, to see it. The spiritual plane is communicating with us constantly, trying to help us complete our purpose. Focus on creating an open state of being, find stillness, and find your purpose. It matters.
