In Connectedness and Separation – Pt.1, I outlined how during my NDE I was taught about being part of “The All”. How we are all connected to each other, and how we carry the human illusion of separation throughout our daily lives. How the illusion of separation forces us to think from the human mind, the ego, and not from the light being within. Next I’ll show you what I was taught about our collective lives.
Life Review
During my life review, the being from the other side showed me the difference between a life of collective movement vs individual achievement. My life prior to the NDE was the example of individual achievement, so I will use myself as a glowing example of how we can improve.
My name is Jonathan – I overcame a rough childhood and went on to graduate as a dual major in college and then earned a graduate certificate within a the year following. After college, I went on to play semi-professional soccer, and played in a couple of PGA sanctioned golf tournaments overseas. I worked in the corporate world starting at the bottom. I used my energy-sensitivity and clairvoyance as tools to help me conquer business strategies and client relations becoming a successful C-level executive. I spent 25 years climbing the corporate ladder at which point I started working for an international program that saved shelter animals and took part in saving over 100,000 animals in the 2 years I was there. I had nice things – cars, boats, trips, etc. I wasn’t religious, but I took care of the people close to me. I was never a guy to cheat, steal, or lie, and I was proud of what I was able to overcome and accomplish.
Individual Achievement
From the outside, my previous life was filled with many accolades, it was successful. But it was all about individual achievement. Most everything I had done in that life was for me as an individual. It was about overcoming a rotten childhood and showing the world that I was “good enough”. That I succeeded as a victim despite having so much of the world positioned “against” me.
Individual achievement isn’t just about a life that appears self-centered, it doesn’t have to look like my previous life. A life focused on individual achievement can also resemble a life lived on a solitary path with the sole purpose of self-enlightenment. For example, a guru who goes off to live in the woods, and keeps all of his learnings to himself instead of sharing them collectively. His sole focus is his journey. What I learned during the NDE was that our lives are not about individual achievement, they are about collective movement. Life is about helping each other to collectively learn and grow while at the same time overcoming our individual challenges that we came back to learn.
Collective Movement
A life lived for collective movement means a life lived understanding connectedness, see Connectedness and Separation – Pt.1. We have to understand that we are all connected, all learning, and all trying to progress to a higher level of understanding. An understanding which brings us closer and eventually back to the source. Collective movement is the opposite of individual achievement.
Yes, we are here to learn and we have our individual challenges to overcome. But, what was made very clear during my life review, was that we receive opportunities from the other side every single day that enable us to help our connected brothers and sisters in ways that make our lives a collective movement.
If we are all here to learn, and we all return to the source with all of our knowledge, what sense does it make that one person out of 100 is a standout, if the rest of the 99 stumble and fall in understanding. A life lived for collective movement means being open, understanding connectedness, and recognizing opportunities to help advance our collective learning. It is about recognizing love for your fellow light beings.
Modern Life
Every part of modern life is setup for individualization. If you have been following along and understand the NDE teachings so far, you don’t have far to reach to understand why our world is setup for individual achievement and not for collective movement. Everything in modern life is setup to create the illusion of separation. For example, our relationship with our phone is setup to be individual, and keeps us “separated” to the highest degree. Our work, our media, entertainment, music, language, etc. Almost every input we have today is setup for individualization – individual achievement, and separation.
How to Filter
What is the best way to filter our individual achievement focus? What is the best way to do something that supports collective movement and connectedness? You already know the answer. It comes built in. The filter is incredibly simple. Ask yourself this question every night before you fall asleep:
- Did I do anything for anybody outside of my friend and family circle today?
It’s that simple. Hold a door, tell somebody to have a good day, say hi to somebody walking by, smile at someone, or take it to a higher degree and give something in person to somebody you don’t know. Share, laugh with somebody, show compassion, change moods, change somebody’s inputs. These things matter more than you know.
Our lives are setup for individual achievement, separation, and the layers of problems that also come with those focusses. It would be incredibly easy for anybody to say, “yeah…I don’t have time for anybody else.” And that is how I lived my life, and I did it successfully. Until a NDE with a life review on the other side showed what really mattered.
The Takeaway
We are trained as humans from the day we can walk, to seek individual achievement. To gain, win, to defeat, etc. The problem is that these ideas support the illusion of separation. The truth is that we are all connected, swimming in an ocean together trying to make it back to the boat. Those that leave the pack and swim back on their own, find that there is not a seat waiting for them, and are sent back to try again. Those that swim back with another, find not only seats, but so much more. We do not have to be saints, we don’t even have to try to be perfect. We only have to be aware and remember that we are all connected and part of something much greater. Spread the love.
In Connectedness and Separation – Pt.3, I will show you how “for” and “against” create “open” and “closed” states of being that can be stacked and accumulated. Understanding “open” and “closed” states of being will help you develop clairvoyance as well as provide an increase in meditation effectiveness.
