In The Nature of Reality – Pt.1 – Truth, we looked at how I was shown the definition of truth during my NDE. How reality is truth – all versions of reality, are all happening at once, at the same time, and in the same place, on a connected object or plane. Circular, full, all, Truth.
The Screens
Next, the being showed me the definition of perception. The floating column disappeared and three floating screens proceeded to appear containing colorful images. The screens represented our human view of reality, or better known as our “perception.” The screens looked to be made of some translucent glasslike material. They were able to twist and reshape themselves and would move when I focused my vision on each screen individually. The image that was the focus of my vision would immediately fly to the front, while the others would slide and quickly fly backwards. Re-creation below.
The images each represented a version of reality, and my change in visual focus to a different screen represented my change in perception. A change in perception was directly tied to a change in reality. In other words, you could not change perception of the same reality. A change in perception = a change in reality. The column then appeared again, and as it floated in front of me, it slowly rolled clockwise and highlighted different facets. Again representing perception’s link with reality.
Definition of Perception
The being defined perception as human nature, linear, human constructed, and malleable. Perception is what allows us to view the many versions of reality. To help me understand, I was shown a formula that represents the makeup of perception. It floated in front of me just like the pillar and the screens with pictures had before. I will use the example statement from The Nature of Reality – Pt.1 – Truth.
Below is a human made sentence that creates perception:
- The red dog jumped over the fence.
The formula that creates the foundation of human perception:
- The + red + dog + jumped + over + the + fence =
- Direction ————————————->
- Vocalization ———————————->
- 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 =
- Quantity ————————————–>
- Addition ————————————–>
- .32sec + .32 + .32 + .32 + .32 + .32 + .32 =
- Human Time ————————————>
In the above case, reading the sentence creates visual feedback, direction, motion, and vocalization – internally and externally. Quantity is a generation in subject, meaning, and degree – how much meaning. Finally there is time – duration, length, and exposure. The sum of the formula in all of its parts = Your Constructed Human Perception. This formula applies to all of our senses and all material we ingest – visual, emotional, audio, tactile, etc. The formula is a representation of how every day we live our lives constructing a perception of a reality that we are mostly unaware of. I do believe the formula was shown to help me understand how the creation of our perception can be easily steered without our knowing.
- Formula Breakdown
- Visualization = words, signs, imagery, etc.
- Vocalization = audible, heard, felt. Can be internal or external. External is stronger
- Direction = your perceptive direction, not the dog’s direction. For example it moves you, influences you to think and or act, creates an opinion
- Quantity = how much of the subject matter are you reading, viewing, etc. Not the number of dogs or necessarily number of words. Quantity of meaning.
- Addition = how the quantity of meaning is added to other meanings to reinforce direction and perception
- Time = the amount of time to read, the amount of time to create direction and meaning, the amount of time you are under duration of that meaning.
If we use the formula above as a check against our daily life, we can see exactly what creates influence, both consciously and unconsciously. That influence then creates our perception, which defines the version of the reality we are living. It’s all connected, and shares a far deeper connection than we think. Words alone help define our reality to a scale that few understand.
Our subconscious side creates our perception as much as our conscious side. We are mistaken if we believe we can consciously expose our 5 senses to material that creates the perception and reality we don’t want, and somehow control it. A measure of ego is to state that exposure has no effect on us, and that is not the case.
Try to imagine the perception and reality that is created in the following scenario:
A person wakes up in the morning and jumps on social media, then a news site, then checks their favorite teams scores, then reads an article about bad relationships, maybe looks at a dating app, and drives around listening to music with emotionally jarring lyrics, etc.? What meaning is derived and precepted in these visited areas and for what duration was this person under that meaning?
Your perception is not reality, your perception is A view of A reality, one of an infinite number you have access to. If you want to change your reality, you have to change your perception, they are tied together. Choose your material exposure wisely.
The Takeaway
Perception is humanly constructed by exposure to material involving our 5 senses. The constructed perception defines what version of reality we are living in. If we want to change our reality, we need to first change our perception. To change our perception, we need to apply the formula, and be selective. Do we need to become pious, priests, monks, nuns, and hermits? No. But we need to be aware of the fact that what we ingest has a much deeper connection to our reality than what we are told. In the next post, The Nature of Reality – Pt.3 – Changing Perception, I will show you what was taught about how we can change our perception quickly, giving us access to new realities.
