A Near Death Experience – Pt.9

A light appeared in the room. It was like a sun, brilliant and growing larger. I could look directly into it and not have to look away. It felt like love, ever glowing light, all encompassing, whole. It kept getting larger and as it did it swallowed my view of the being and the room or structure we were in. Soon there was nothing but light and I was part of it.

The next thing I know I’m waking up in my bathroom, cold, and in a lot of pain. Painfully back in my body. I felt bitterly cold and for whatever reason I reached for the thermometer on the counter. My temperature was 94F degrees, cold. I felt out of it. Everything back here felt fake, make believe, and everything on the other side felt incredibly real. It’s amazing how free you feel on the other side, light. Everything is so heavy and dense here. I eventually gathered myself and left the bathroom. The time was 7:30am.

I didn’t remember dying or where I had been right away. It was like I had one leg in this life and one leg on the other side. It was almost as if I was watching myself in third person, a strange feeling. Everything felt different. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to call for an ambulance. It never crossed my mind. In fact I don’t know where the 3 hours of lost time went either. I just came back, and started moving.

The next 3 months were horrible. I lost 30 pounds, my hair fell out, my teeth were loose, my eyesight almost disappeared, I couldn’t digest anything but liquid, I was too weak to drive, could barley walk, had a hard time breathing, would sleep for 18 hours at a clip, I could go on. It was the worst thing I’ve ever been through. I remembered where I had gone, and what I had seen and felt. The only problem was that I didn’t believe what had happened. I didn’t want to believe. It was time to try and satisfy the skeptic within.
