The Human Experience – Pt.3 – Victimhood

In The Human Experience – Pt.2 – Purpose, I wrote about why it is important to find our life purpose. We receive constant communication from the other side to help us find and complete our life purpose and it is important that we take the time to focus on it. Our life purpose matters.

The following is what the spiritual being on the other side taught me during my NDE, about being a “victim”. I believe I was taught this information because I carried a victim mindset from many experiences in my life. That mindset was holding me back from progressing and working on my life’s purpose.

This post may be controversial and hard to fully grasp. But, I assure you that I’ve given a lot of thought to releasing this information, and it will help you in the long run. Even if you disagree with the teaching I received.

Victimhood

Are we victims? Does being “human” align us with the idea of being a victim to one, or many circumstances, that harm us during our time on earth? The answer is far more complicated than I can humanly explain. The very short, very blunt, and very direct answer is, “no”, we are not victims. We cannot be victims. We are light beings having a human experience and a light being cannot be injured or harmed in any way. We are a piece of the “all”, of God, a projection of our higher selves, and we certainly cannot be damaged or injured. The damage that we do receive is to the human form, and the human constructed ego. See The Human Experience – Pt.1.

We believe we are “victims”, when something we humanly perceive as “bad”, happens to us, or has happened against us. The issue with this line of thought, is that our lives on earth are for learning, and everything here happens for us, not against us. There isn’t a force in the spiritual plane that is maliciously sending us horrible circumstances on a daily basis to ensure we end up as victims. Everything, that we experience in our lives is created, for us to learn. Everything, we experience has a design, and a reason. Nothing happens to you, it only happens for you.

Human Problems

To further instruct me on why there aren’t any “victims”, the being showed me a visual of earth and the location of all the dogs that existed on the planet, a number close to 1 billion. In front of me appeared a transparent and spinning view of the planet earth. It was about the size of a basketball, floating, and it glowed with orange colored dots where every dog on the planet was existing. Dogs were in cages, wild, free, as pets, every version, every circumstance, every breed, all visible at once. As one dog or dot disappeared, one or many would replace it. It was like watching the waves of the ocean replicate birth and death. A wave of orange would wane, and would then be reborn washing over the continents.

Prior to my Near Death Experience, I worked for an international organization that saved and rehomed shelter animals, as well as animals that pet owners no longer wanted or could keep. Over the 2 years I was employed, we managed to save and rehome over 100,000 animals. Even while saving that significant a number, we knew we were always behind. We were chasing a solution to a problem, that we thought, could “easily” be solved with enough money and time. Our outreach director would write letters to celebrities and billionaires looking for the funds needed to continue our efforts, often joking we were one check away from having the money to solve this “animal” issue.

What the spiritual being communicated to me through this example, was that this problem, as with many “human problems“, was not meant to be solved. If one dog’s issues were solved, another dog was born, one died, and another or many others replaced the now passed dog with new issues. There was no amount of money on this planet large enough, for every dog to be treated well, saved, and exist happily. No matter what was done. This “problem” will continue to exist, and in human terms, the “victims” of this problem, will continue to exist and continue to be created. Why?

  • Our “problems” exist for a reason.
  • Our “problems”, are not “problems”. They are lessons, with interconnected complexity.
  • Our “problems” are not necessarily meant to be avoided or solved, but meant to be emotionally overcome.

Apply the above points, to any number of human defined problems – homelessness, violence, starvation, abuse, animal abuse, war, anything, etc. and you will begin to understand the scope of what problems “are not” supposed to be solved. For these issues to be solved, all of society would have to become condition-less, running only on states of unconditional love and being. For that to happen, all humans would need to reach an awakened state, and there would be nothing left to learn. That is not for this plane. That exists in the next plane. That is something I felt when I crossed over to the other side.

The Grand Design

As light beings, we choose to come down to the human plane to overcome challenges and learn over many lifetimes, as many lives as it takes. Before we are born, some of us choose how we die, some of us choose to be the “the good guys”, and some of us choose to be “the bad guys”. Some of us choose to change during our lifetimes, some of us just exist, and some are just here to help another with a lesson and leave. Some of us live long healthy lives and some are here for minutes. All of this is designed with the intention of creating the delicate play we call the “human existence“.

Everything we experience in the “human existence” has consciousness. Everything is made of God, the all, spirit, light. Everything exists in every version of itself, in every reality, everywhere, at the same time. The cow chooses to be a cow, and that cow, exists in every version of itself in every reality. In some realities the cow is eaten and in others the cow is pampered. Neither version of these realities is right or wrong, but both are true. The cow is not a victim in one reality, and a king in the other. The cow is a student in both realities. The light being within the cow learns in both realities. Multiply this cow’s versions of reality by infinity and you can begin to see the complexity of the system, within which we are here to learn.

Suffering

Suffering is part of our human existence. In Buddhism it is stated that “life is suffering”. Suffering is not pointless. Suffering does not make us victims. In fact suffering is what gives us the opportunity to overcome.

Would you stop walking on grass if a scientific study was released telling you that the grass suffered when you walked on it? Or would you continue to walk on the grass knowing that pain and suffering are an essential part of its experience on this plane. Do you make the grass a victim if you continue to walk on it? The grass I saw on the other side is very much alive, filled with light, glowing, and gently moving. Is it somehow different? How about the insect you hit with your car windshield on your way to pick up a pizza, or the plant that is now dying because you forgot to water it? Are they victims? They are part of the all just as we are. There is no separation from the all or missing consciousness.

We pick our charitable causes based on our human communities, our media inputs, friends, family, our egos, and the illusion that we as humans have answers. We assume that somehow, the grass isn’t as important as the cow because we can’t see or hear the grasses’ suffering. How about the fan in your home groaning as metal parts grind together because it is old and the lubricant is gone? The fan has just as much consciousness as the grass and the cow. Or the light in your bathroom being turned on and off thousands of times slowly cooking its electrical components, or the kitchen glass you broke, or the organisms in the dirt you crushed when you walked in your garden, or the microorganisms in the air that you killed when you breathed them into your nasal cavity. All of them are light beings, all of them are pieces of the all, all contain consciousness. There are no victims. It is all part of a very large, and supremely designed plan.

The Takeaway

The uncomfortable truth, is that we are not victims of anything, ever. Nothing is. Even the most painful and senseless experience that has happened during your existence, was designed and happened for you. It was only senseless and painful to your human side, your ego. But it was never senseless to the light being within. That awful experience may be the result of several lifetimes of learning, only to culminate in one last epic and painful experience, never to be experienced again.

There will always be problems and awful experiences in our lives. Without these experiences, we don’t have a way to learn and overcome. We need to understand that there is a balance that exists beyond us, beyond what we think we have control over, beyond what we think we can impact with our human efforts. We cannot be victims if our circumstances are exactly what they are supposed to be. You are an eternal light being having a human experience, and everything here is designed for you, the student. Search within, overcome human emotion, learn, and share your learnings with your fellow light beings. Your journey is our journey.
